PARTNER MAIL VS


PARTNER MAIL VSŪ is a highly integrated, easy-to-use messaging system specifically designed for the PARTNER family of communications systems. PARTNER MAIL VS includes up to 40 voice mailboxes and features remote access from any touch-tone phone so you can keep in touch with important callers.

You can also use the system's Automated Attendant as a backup when your business is especially busy and you can't get to every call right away. The Automated Attendant can immediately answer your calls with a recorded company greeting and let callers transfer to an extension, department, or voice mailbox by following a series of voice prompts. Also, a unique Tutor Service provides step-by-step voice instructions on how to use the system, reducing the time it takes for new or temporary employees to learn the system.

PARTNER MAIL VSŪ includes an outcalling capability that can automatically dial out to a predesignated phone number--such as your pager, cellular hone, home phone, or whatever number you choose--to alert you whenever a caller has left a new message in your voice mailbox.

PARTNER MAIL VSŪ is available throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In the Americas region, PARTNER MAIL VS is available in Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Tinidad & Tobago, the United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Within the Asia Pacific Region it is available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Within Western Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, it is available in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Note: Puerto Rico also services the US Virgin Islands. Trinidad & Tobago also services Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, French Guinea, Jamaica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and Surinam.

 

Architectural Overview
Built into a PARTNER module that slides into the PARTNER control unit.

The PARTNER MAIL VS supports up to 4 ports and 40 mailboxes.

- 2 ports, 10 mailboxes with approximately 5 hours of storage

- 2 ports, 20 mailboxes with approximately 9 hours of storage

- 4 ports, 20 mailboxes with approximately 9 hours of storage

- 4 ports, 40 mailboxes with approximately 17 hours of storage

The multiple configurations allow you to closely match your voice messaging system with your particular business needs. Choose the largest system right away to handle heavy volume or start with the smaller configuration and be confident you can upgrade to a larger system when the need arises.

Release History
Current Release 4 introduced in March 1997. First introduced in 1994.

Administration
Administration is performed via the touch-tone keypad of any telephone on-site or remotely, using the administration password.

Automated Attendant
Automatically answers and routes incoming calls by extension number or name.

Automated Attendant Announcements
Provides up to two prerecorded announcements to give callers useful, often-requested information such as hours of operation, directions, or special offerings.

Call Answer
Answers calls when you are unavailable.

Mailbox subscribers can forward messages they receive to other subscribers and attach their own comments before the message.

New and Old Messages
New (unheard) messages are played before any saved messages. Only new messages activate the message waiting light on the PARTNER telephone.

Outcalling
Provides the user with notification at a pre-defined telephone or pager number whenever a new message arrives in a mailbox programmed for outcalling.

Helps you be more flexible and responsive. Provides mobility while it gives the ability to remain responsive to messages.

Tutor Service
Provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the PARTNER telephones.
