The original PARTNER Communications System

The original PARTNER Communications System is Avaya Technologies’ "Keep-It-Simple" solution. It provides a wide variety of business-telephone features for companies with two to ten telephones and it is specifically designed to be "plug and play" in its ease of use and installation. The PARTNER system is often the perfect choice for home offices, telecommuters, service businesses, and other smaller enterprises.

The PARTNER system lets you distinguish calls through a unique ring or tone for each line. It also lets you designate private extensions and see "at a glance" which lines are in use. The system offers voice mail, wireless communications, and many other features normally found only on larger, more expensive systems.

Architectural Overview
The PARTNER Control unit provides capacity for 2 incoming telephone lines and 6 extensions. To add additional lines and telephones, users can add another module 2 lines and 6 extensions. A module connector cable is used to attach modules.

PARTNER system offers a choice of three contemporary telephones, the PARTNER 6 button, 18 button, and 18 button with display (18D). PARTNER telephones have features such as hold, transfer, three way conferencing, intercom, and speed dialing.
